Curtis Martin burst onto the NFL scene in 1995, rushing for 1,487 yards and winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, and never looked back. The legendary NFL rusher would go on to run for 14,101 yards and receive five Pro Bowl nominations during his legendary eleven-year career. Martin’s career ended on a high note, running for a league-best 1,697 yards during his last complete NFL season. Martin did this at 31 years old and is still the oldest player to lead the league in rushing. He would be named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012 and have his number 28 jersey retired by the New York Jets.
