Ron Dayne
One of the best college football players of all-time, Ron Dayne still ranks first in NCAA rush attempts and rushing yards (bowl statistics counted). In his senior season at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dayne would rush for 2,034 yards and receive the Heisman Trophy,
Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Chic Harley Award, Doak Walker Award, Jim Brown Award, and AP Player of the Year honors. Following this outstanding season, the “Great Dayne” was drafted eleventh overall by the New York Giants in 2000. In the NFL, Dayne would play seven seasons with the Giants, Broncos, and Texans, rushing for 3,722 yards and 28 touchdowns. Dayne currently works as the Marketing and Communications Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
